Madam Wokie for Sarah Laura Tucker


In August 2018 Madam Wokie had the pleasure of managing the Miss Sierra Leone 2018 campaign for Sarah Laura Tucker.


On Saturday 25th August 2018, Sarah Laura Tucker, a student of the Mass Communication Department at the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, was crowned Miss Sierra Leone 2018. An proud alumni of the St Josephs convent Secondary School, Sarah Laura Tucker, was once crowned Miss Convent in 2010.


Sarah notes "It was an honour to be crowned Miss Sierra Leone on Saturday 25th August 2018, I am still basking the joy of being conferred with such a momentous national title. Thank you to Miss Sierra Leone Ltd for creating the platform for me to compete. To my campaign team; Madam Wokie, Bilkisu Gbassay Bangura, Victor Turay, Miles B Kamara of Sinewaves Studios and Martina Egbenda, you did an excellent job and I am grateful for your assistance. Most importantly thank you to the people of Sierra Leone for your support and well wishes. I intend to use my platform as Miss Sierra Leone to campaign for the sexual and reproductive rights of women and girls of Sierra Leone. I look forward to working with the community, civil society groups, government and national and international interlocutors to campaign for the human right of women and girls of Sierra Leone. Together we can positively enhance our society."
