On Saturday 28 October, Madam Wokie debuted its 017 Nyapue Collection at the inaugural Bahamas Fashion Week, in Nassau, Bahamas.
The collection featured fourteen couture pieces which were designed and produced in Sierra Leone. The collection is dedicated to the Mende Women of Southern Sierra Leone; especially Madam Wokie Massaquoi, who is the inspiration behind the brand.
